No Spoilers Film Review: THE SHADOW’S EDGE with Jackie Chan and Tony Leung Ka-Fai

Jackie Chan’s latest action blockbuster THE SHADOW’S EDGE has pleasantly surprised fans and critics alike. While the film filled cinemas almost worldwide, Germany will unfortunately have to make do with home cinema releases in January 2026. To bridge the waiting time, I invited Lee B. Jackie Chan shoots “Armour of God 4: Ultimatum” in Kazakhstan with Salem Entertainment

As Salem Entertainment announced online today during the Mid-Autumn Festival (Moon Festival), Jackie Chan’s next film will be shot with them in Kazakhstan. The filmmakers are drawing on a recipe for success from the 80s and 90s: ARMOUR OF GOD. Can it work? And what additional title will German distributors give the film?

Jackie Chan’s “Railroad Tigers” is back at Koch Media again

What is wrong with Splendid Film, the German Jackie Chan label par excellence? First Koch Media secured the rights to Jackie Chan’s sequel to “The Myth” from 2005 called “Kung Fu Yoga” (2017), then the German distributor shines with the first Blu-ray release of “The Prisoner” (1991) including the much sought-after Taiwanese long version. And now Koch Media is leasing another Chan blockbuster from the Cologne film label Splendid Film: “Railroad Tigers” from 2016.
